Hey All,

Had occassion to use Champion Motorcycle last week. The guy who owns it is named Marco Martinez. Very thorough. Dial me in at 89hp. He is located on State Rd 84 just East of Flamingo on the South side of the road.
Works on nothing but Jap bikes. There is a store next to him called Bikers. Lots of Harley stuff.

What did he do to the bike?

He is the guy that puts Turbo's on the VTX..........pretty savy guy.

Hey Xcelr8,

I have a Techlution (sp) fuel management device on the bike, along with the opened up air cleaner and a set of Vance & Hines pipes. I had him dyno it and dial it in with the computer. I'm bustin right at 90hp. I was really running lean at the low rpms. Hammered it this morning and damn near pulled me off the bars. I'm no hotrod, but I wanted it to be right.
I don' know about the blower, but he does flat track racing. He was leaving for N. FL has I picked the bike up Friday night.

Time to trade for a 1800.........105 HP.....3.8 sec 0-60.......11.8 quarter.....completly stock with FI & quiet pipes.
:D :D :D :D :D :D

He had a big display at the Ft Laud show.........I think Hal and Champion might be cooking up something.

There was a post on this board about a week or so ago, listing HP, 0-60, 1/4 mile times, etc, for a lot of bikes. Wish I would have saved it, but maybe someone else did.

105hp Damn, I can hardly hold on at 90. Slapping the throddle open still gives me goosebumps. That Vette of mine is doing over 400 and it does not give me the rush that poking that scoot does. Could be that might be the reason my wife is not nuts about riding in and on either one.

Hey Mike.........
My optimum performance shift points are 30-60-90-115.

To show you what a wuss I am, I never hit the 90 for the 3rd to 4th speed shift!

My son and I partnered a ZO6 2 yrs ago............not anywhere near the rush the 1800 gives me,

Xcelr8,

I wost out at 100mph on the X. I've buryed the needle on the Vette. Feels the same at 140 as it does at 60. I can't say the same for the X. It was still climb rapidly when the pucker thing got me. The looks from some of the gagers was a panic after I slowed down and they then past me. Sad to say, I think I'm slowing down.

Good choice MB. I've used Marco a number of times and he's priced real good and great work. Bikers Inc next store is great for cheap leather asscessories as well as being a nice guy (Big Al)..

Regards,
