In case you haven't heard it yet, we're planning an invasion of Wisconsin. So saddle up the bike and the old lady too! Come and meet the Cheeseheads at Chris' USA at 724 Milwaukee Ave, Burlington, WI (between Milwaukee and Chicago). Meeting starts at 1pm.
We'll be discussing future rides and events, so come make your desires known.
I'll be headed up I-39 if you want to tag along.

wa wa waaaaaa........
Went to the first Biker Brunch at Joe's last weekend. Looks like it is gonna be a real fine event. Even with the cooler temps, there were over a hundred bikes there. I think they are tring to take over the Highland House crowds

Let me know the next time you all are heading out.

What's Joe's? Where? When?
See ya'all on the 17th at Chris's in Burlington, WI.
Anyone in the NW suburbs planning on going? Want to meet up locally and ride up as a group? Meet around 11 (ish) and head up from somewhere around here (53 & Euclid - Sheraton Hotel parking lot, or other suggestions?)
post reply here and we'll coordinate

I think this is the Joe's Bar that you are asking about.

Check out the calendar. It lists the Sunday Biker Brunch.
I haven't been there yet. Sounds like a great rally point of Illinois VTX meet.

Yup, that's the place. If you go the the pics section, there's a pic of 3 guys in a booth near the top of the list and the quote underneath says something about a "hearty brunch", I'm the guy in the middle.
editted to add: the pics are on the Loop's page, not Joe's. The Loop is sponsoring this weekly event so there is alot of advertising going on. Here is where the pics are. We are the pic in the middle colums, 2nd one down.

There are a few of us in the NW suburbs (S'burg, Mt. Prospect, Des Plaines) meeting at 11:00 on the 17th at the Sheraton Hotel parking lot on Euclid and 53 (Rolling Meadows), then group ride up to meet Skinny & crew in Burlington.
I've heard form a couple of people so far. If any others are planning on meeting us - or want us to meet others along the route that are further north (Crystal Lake - McHenry area), post a note here so I can get a headcount.

Well, I'm in McHenry but I am planning on meeting up with Woot in Rockford. I may not be able to get a sitter until 11:30 though (and I'm supposed to meet Woot at noon). If that happens, I'll post and try to hook up somewhere with the crew from the south. By the sounds of things, there might be more IL plates in the lot than the big green WI ones! LOL!

Bluto,
I'll call your place at noon if we don't see ya. Maybe you can hookup with us somewhere along our route. Maybe at the junction of I-43 and Rte 11?

I really don't want to over complicate things setting up multiple meeting points. If I'm at the Shell, great, lets roll. I think I have your cell number so if I'm not going to make it, I'll call and leave a message before noon sometime and I'll see you up at Chris's. I should know more about the sitter later this week.

Bluto,
We're hitting the road at 10am, so after that I won't have the cell available until we reach the Shell station. I'll check the cell when I get there.

Will see you guys at the Shell station Saturday. Any bets on the temps really being in the upper 60's maybe 70'ish. Should be a good time. If 90 is as messed up as it was yesterday I'll have an alternate route around the tie up. I spent an hour creeping along for about 12 miles until I could get off. Good thing is there shouldn't be any road work going on there Saturday. If I'd ben on the bike I would of rode the shoulder anyway and not had to pi$$ with it.
