Jack (Paleryder) will lead from meeting place exit 60 off I85 Taking rte 101 into Greer and following rte 357 up the long country stretch to the town of Campobello. Apx 15 miles on a great road. {Great country restaurant with a big open serving area.

From Campobello you can ride scenic RT. 11 over (west) thru Gowensville continuing along RT 11 untill you come to Rt 101. (13 miles of great scenery ) Head south on Rt 101 coming back into Greer and out rt 14 to that nice Ice cream place where they pile the (1000) flavors......sky high. A well known summer stopping spot for a lot of the locals.

Total Round Trip : Apx. 40miles. This would allow for a Sweet tea stop in Campobello for 15-20min or just ride back down to Greer for the Ice Cream.

Pale Ryder will meet ya all at exit 60, Greer (have to work night shift till sat am... need lil sleep!)

I'll have a couple local Vtxers to help lead some folk back to Greer. I would like to show the Ga. boys a nice ride back to 123. We can be very flexable from Campobello. If ya all are feeling froggy, Caesar's Head can be done in about 1.5 hr up and back. 22 mile ride w/7 mile of twisties on a 2500 ft climb----> IMO.....a better run than Dragon's tail!! The 276 hwy is right off of HWY 11 west of Campobello. You Ga. boyzzzz gotta see this!

Anyway, we'll stop at the Dutch plate and discuss what ya all may find interesting to do.....................the mountains were great today. I ran 25 north to 11 west and up to Caesars Head....and back to Greer. Nice!

Please do the lunch Poll so I can give Dave an idea. Thanks, Jack

Karen just told me Jason & family were out of town. That's why I haven't
heard from him. If I see he returns before Saturday, I'll make sure he
knows about the ride and has your number.

Looks like I will get this Saturday off after all. :) I'll be getting kind of a late start so I'll meet everyone in Greer at exit 60 about noon . I'd like to hook up with ya in Gaffney but have to take care of a few things in the morning. Looking forward to the ride and meeting the NC and Ga guys.
