I was wondering if anyone had gotten Neal down at Honda of Spartanburg to do the (De)Smog modification for them and if so, do you remember what he charged to do it.

I am getting a lot of decel backfiring and Power Commander suggested that I close of the Pair Valve and it would take care of most of it.

Thanks for any info.

Takes about 1 hour. There is plenty of info on how to do it here.

Yeah I checked that article out, just don't have much free time right now. I may just go ahead and do it myself. Thanks

It's actually illegal... any dealer that does it is asking for trouble.

I did mine myself.

Hey Eddie,

Are you going to ride with us on 4/10?

Mike,

I am having arthroscopic surgery on my left shoulder Friday morning. I won't be able to make it. I'll be checking the board, maybe I can hook up and make the next ride.

Eddie,

Sorry you can't make it. Good luck with your surgery.

How long will it be before you can ride? If there is anything we can do, let us know.

My experience with pluging the PAIR at the airbox is that it makes the exhaust sound wierd at idle.

I decided to go ahead and do the job myself. I picked up the rubber caps while at lunch. I will get it knocked out as soon as I get home from work this afternoon.

Thanks for the responses.
