Gentlemen, We will be going on a ride from Greer up to Campobella SC. There is a nice resturant there "The Dutch Plate" Will you all be planning on lunch? If you all can let me know, I can have Dave (owner) notified to have plenty of sweet tea, hamburgers, fries and chicken fingers...salads. If you plan on waiting for lunch after the Greer I 85 meeting place to eat....plz let me know asap. If 35-40 of us just drop in it could be slow getting to everyone. Campobello is apx 25 min north of Greer.

Also, one plan was to loop around back to Greer, but since Hyw 11 runs back to Gaffney (east) and toward Tocoa Ga. (west) It would make sence for ya all to head toward I85 that way. We can split up after lunch and I can lead the Ga. boys back toward the Ga line and NC Hammer and company can run Hwy 11 east toward Gaffney and pick up I85 there.

Send me a PM msg. or email (ironcity_blues@hotmail.com) Thanks, Jack

Hey Jack,

Lunch at the Dutch Plate sounds good. :eat1: I've never eaten there, but I've heard of it. Supposed to be gooood.

Whatever the group wants to do...

BTW, do they have waitresses like Hooters???

Jack,
The above plan sounds good.
We meet then go eat on Hwy 11, but what about the Ice Cream?

Stephen and Dan will be heart broken if we don't stop for ice cream.

Hi Ron
Sorry to be a poo poo head, but what about rain? Will this ride be rain or shine? I am up for it either way. I also like eating ice cream, rain or shine.

There is no rain date.

We're going!

Rain or shine.

From what I've learned over the last year or so, the rule of thumb is:

50%chance of rain or less - you go.
50 degrees or more - you go.

Stephen and I agreed that unless a hurricane is coming up the coast, we go.

Next "NC meets GA and all parts in between" is October 10th
Mark your calendars.
This is the unofficial 'rain date' for those who melt.

I don't know any "X" riders that would melt, but I do know some that will definitely float...

I checked on your weather link and is has only a 30% chance of showers late in the day and a high of 74.
Should be a great day!

Mike,
We have some Harley, Kawasaki, Yamaha and Suzuki riders as well.
I'm not sure if they would melt or float.

Everyone's going to get a chance to see the new Vulcan 2000 up close and personal. On our first ride to SC, last year, Stephen and I got a chance to sit on a new Rune at the ice cream place. This ride's not only fun, it's educational. LOL

I've lost count.
We'll have to take a head count when we all get to Greer.

For the Oct ride, we will have to pick a 'group' leader at each stop to keep track of who is supposed to showup there.
