Hi English Bretheren, My wife and I and our youngest son and daughter in law are visiting the South of England in April. We'll be arriving on the 6th and departing on the 25th. We are British by birth and now living in the USA. Purpose of trip is predominently to visit family mostly in the South and West. However from the 15 through the 21 we'll be staying close to Dartmouth in a cottage.

It would be neat to meet some of you guys and compare notes. If you are interested in having a pint with me and chatting please contact me through this site. I left England in 1962 and have been living in the 'States since 1966. I grew up in Bourne End Bucks my first bike was a BSA Bantum, then an old Royal E with change on the tank. I owned a Francis Barnet a Tiger Cub and while in college a BSA 600 Road Rocket (twin).

For fun I currently own a 2003 VTX 1800 RS and a 2004 Mustang GT ++

Hope you enjoy your trip back to the UK...as you can tell VTX owners in the UK are a little sparse...I'm sure there'll be some one darn sarf who'd have a pint with you...hell if the weather was good n I could get the time I'd ride down there to meet you...

Hi there,

VTX owner in Basingstoke, Hampshire, but busy over the Easter holidays so trip to beautiful Dartmouth is unlikely.

However, you are not too far away from the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, which is just along the coast at New Milton in Hampshire. If you love old bikes it is well worth a visit. The web link is :- http://www.sammymiller.co.uk/

Enjoy your trip 8)
