Yeah, but not as busy as last year...
I know I still forgot stuff on that list. The hurricane sales were very good to me!
I'll have to go through CC bills and paypal receipts to verify, as I'm gonna have to UP the insurance again.
I've only fired the pipes up in the garage a few times when I was rejetting. They are loud, but sound great, nice and deep, low loping sound at idle with ~some~ bark when you twist it. It took me a looooong time to decide on which ones, after hearing as many as I could, I guess after listening to the speedsters on Hal's bike for 3k miles, they were the most pleasing to my eyes and ears. Some pipes I absolutely cannot stand after about 5 minutes of riding behind them.

Note to self: meet Nate this summer to hear his pipes!
Well Hondo, you know I put on the Avon Venoms and Progressive front springs (with a little help from Chip's cycle) as well as fixing those dog induced radiator bottle issues and getting the valve's adjusted...
Getting the itch now... Come on nice weather!

I am not quite finished but I am wrapping up the following.
Fog light install
Spot light install
Lawn mower starter solenoid install (don't ask)
Avons front and rear
Kury duallys for the passenger
Re-did the fuel line quick disconnect.
Waiting in the wings.
Cyclecraft clock
odd bits of chrome.
Black tins?
Need to get done.
Valve check
rim polishing
any aluminum polishing.

Where are you doing the fogs and spots?
Off your engine guards? or ???

Nate,
I mounted the spots on the engine guards and the fogs on the standoffs for the foot controls. I will try to get a pic or two up to show exactly where and how. I used the 3 pc H-D style engine guard clamps for the spots and.....don't laugh (too hard).....plumbing pipe hangers for the fogs. Those are zinc plated and don't really look too bad but I may paint them black anyways to blend in. I forget what size exactly but they fit like they were made for this. Oh...and they were cheap....about $1.30 each. I was on an "unemployed" budget.

New changes...
Baron's BAK
Braided Rear Brake Line
Any NE rider want a cheap K&N Filter? Bought new, sprayed it with oil, installed it, rejetted my bike with it, yesterday I just got a good deal on a BAK, so I'll let it go cheap...
Oh yeah, I have a extra set of GP block off plates too!

allright:
Cobra Slip ons
Kury Hypercharger
Kury Highway pegs
Clock mod
Chrome brake res. cover
Switchblade Shorty windshield with quick release mounts
rejet kit and dyno run
throttle boss
Kewl metal risers and switch housing relocation (thanks to dremel)
emblem removal (with a bit of help from goo gone)
thats about it. Looking for some stuff for the foots mod but probably won't do that till it goes in the garage next winter. I'll be lookin' for parts this season, so if anyone has an 1800 rear wheel, rotor, and brake mounting system feel free to send me a PM and I'll make you an offer.

Holy Crap! You guys dropped some $$ this winter. I probably would have too, but took the wife on vacation instead. We'll call it paying it forward.
I'm on the fence about what to do next, the choices are:
1) Accutronix forward controls
2) Progressive 418 or 440's
3) BAK and V&H Big Shots
Decisions, decisions, decisions...

Sent some stuff out to the Handler last week
Wheels
Rotors
final drive
Asst'd bolts and axels
Been doing some clean up detailing. Bead blasted and painted the cast iron exhaust support POS, looks much better now. Will probably paint the fork foots black when it warms up. Polished some nuts and bolts. Just simple things.

I think I need to get some sort of gasket. That or I need to get the pipe warmed up before fiinishing the install. There is some kind of waxy material at the leadin of the pipe.

There is a donut style soft gasket on the stocker, should be able to reuse. Just treat it gently.

Hmm...gently eh?
I will hafta look for that.
