I bought a Garmin StreetPilot C320 to use on trips. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can buy a mount/Electrical connection? I don't want to hard wire it.
Thanks

I think you will have to hard wire it. Do you have a lighter adaptor that came with it?

Check out RAM Mounts.

I have their mount for my 2610. I also bought the fused hardwire kit and went directly off the battery.

I think ram-mount is what most people use for Garmins.
Here's what I did for power. It's from AutoZone or Advance Auto (can't remember which). It cost less than $5. I wired it inside the headlight to the new circuit I ran for the cruise control. Took less than 15 min and works great. I crimped a connector (not shown) in the wire, so I can quickly remove the windshield/socket when needed.

Hey if it works go for it sounds good. I dont know how much a gps pulls for power so becarfull not to over load the wires and curcit. Also make sure you not taking to much power from your light see if it is dimmer then before.. Good luck man

Cool spot for an outlet.
One thing though regarding your GPS. There have been several threads about insurance claims and electronics. If you have an accident, if your GPS is NOT hardwired in, they will deny the claim on it. Just a thought.

On some GPS's you cant hard wire them. Mine runs on 3v and if you cut the wire to hard wire it to 12v you will have an expensive GPS smoke barbeque.

The main reason I went with this gps solution is so I can pop it off the mount (one button) and put it in my pocket when I get where I'm going. No worries about it being stolen.
SOH, I ran a dedicated fused circuit from under the seat when I installed the cruise control. I wouldn't recommend running any accessories on the light circuit either. Blowing that fuse, especially at night, would NOT be a good thing.

Check Ebay. I got my handlebar mount there. I hard wired the A/C outlet. See it in my pics.
