I hear people say what a great seat Mustang is, however, I also have heard people say that it is difficult to fit. I am waiting for my two-piece vintage tourer for a 1300C. Anyone have trouble changing out their seats. If so, does anyone have any slick ideas about making the change easier.
As always, thanks in advance,
Mike

Mike, the seat swap is pretty straight forward.. the issue with new seats is the seat time you'll need to need to ride to get the seat to mold to you're ass.. before it gets comfortable..

Hey Mike,
I've had my mustang for about 5,000 miles now. The 1st 1500 or so, I was not very happy with the purchase, as it didn't seem much better than the stock. Gradually though, it molded to my butt and I have fallen in love with it. The biggest issue I had was with the 2 bolts that hold the seat on. Trying to get them to line up and getting the bolts on and off was a pain. I just finished the seat pin mod and now I can pop the seat off in about 2 seconds with no wrenches. Too cool!

mxzxrider,
Well, the seat is on and ready to go. I needed a little help from my son. Say what is the "pin mod" you mentioned?

Hey Mike,
This link will bring you to some real easy instructions on how to replace the seat bolts with pins that can quickly be pulled out to remove the seat.

I finished putting on my Hurricane intake tonight. Looks sharp! Can't wait for warm weather!

Mxzxrider (Jason),
Thanks so much for the information and the "Mod site". The pics were great.
Thanks,
Mike
