Thunder in the Smokies..April 28 - 30th. Anyone planning on going to this one?? I just made reservations at the Microtell in Maggie Valley and assume they still have rooms left, not to mention all the cabin people that have been calling me today to see if I want one of there cabins for the weekend. There is a ride planned for saturday on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Should be real nice. I am going to be leaving that friday if anyone wants to tag along.

I have reservations at the Ramada in MV. A girlfriend and I will be leaving from Greenwood SC, friday morning. Probably have a few HD guys ridng with us. Which route you taking?

I'll be riding up 441 leaving from Commerce Ga. I'll be meeting up with a few around there. @ of them will be X's and a couple Harleys also. I think we will be taking 441 to 74 to get there. Staying at the Microtel in town. Wife and daughter will be driving up later that night. Which X do you have? Maybe we will see you there.

Bardo, I have an 05 1300S, black of course. Planning on the Parkway ride also. You'll be able to recognize me by the Samson Long Cannons and a beautiful, 6' brunette on the back.

Bardo, I don't see why I wouldn't be able to make it up there for that. I would have to leave Friday morning or thurs night, depending on what time you decide to peel out.

Nice avatar there booger, I don't know the situation on the rooms or if any are left. I will be leaving from Commerce 441 McDonalds around 1 pm on Friday the 28th, If you want to join us, your more then welcome. My wife will be coming up that night and we all are leaving on Sunday, not sure what time yet. Would you be traveling with a passenger?? Check into a room and see whats available and we can go from there. Did you get your shirtz from shirtzandthingz???

I'll check on the room and get back with you when I get more info. I will be riding solo. And if you are leaving at 1, maybe I can catch the Vortex on Thursday and then meet you on Friday. My mom lives up in Cartersville, so room and board there is always free.

And yes, I've ordered yet another shirt from SNT. Just one more to add to my collection of VTX Shirts.

Booger, As of right now, we will be leaving Commerce hwy 441 at 1:00 on that friday. Your "borrowed desiign" patch should be in next week so I hope you will be sporting it, It would be nice to see a few "borrowed" as well as our own original design patches up there. I hope a few more from here will chime in and try to make that event.

Well fellows, an girls, the time is winding down. I have frog togs coming this week, a new fieldsheer jacket, Delphi sat radio, gps, and I'm packing my laptop so I don't lose touch. The weather is calling for rain all weekend and lows in the 40's.....I'm ready for it. Who's in ???? I didn't know Cherokee rally was going on the same time. 2 birds with 1 stone. I love it.
