I posted this on the general Rides and Events board:

We're thinking about heading to Helen for an overnight on the way back. There are a couple of good bars there with bands, good German food, and it's pretty hard to get in much trouble (believe me, I've tried ).

We'll probably stay at the Helendorf, on the river, right in the middle of everything, and you can stagger home....about $65. It makes for a pretty good overnight.

Any takers?

(new Avons are on...I'm ready to fly! Wifey is gonna have to wind that ACE up like she stole it to keep up)

We stopped there on the way home, Saturday. I'll probably try to organize a ride in a month or two in the GA mountains, starting and ending in Helen.
