Well...I couldnt wait .. the hypercharger didnt arrive last week :x
..so I chucked the stock airbox back on. the sun was shining & the roads where dry

Off I went...first time out since the wet ride home back in February...

What can I say ...WOW...I'm well pleased...couldnt stop grinning....
only problem...about 90 -100mph its difficult to hang on 8)
oh...n I must remember I'm no longer riding a sports bike..slight lack of ground clearance

And...well maybe I should have opted for the quiet baffles for the Bigshots...had small children & old ladies cowering in fear as I rode by

Next phase...fit the hypercharger...when it arrives  then get the PCIII mapped...

Can you tell I'm pleased with the bike :D

Oh yeah...I gave the local Harley riders a bit of a shock too...leavin em way behind

What kind of pipes do you have?
Need a set of Vance and Hines long shots to get the most ponies.

Only 90-100 mph,you need to shift out of 4th up to 5th gear.

Alfski...what do use the Harley in the kitchen for...put the cake mix in bowl..place on seat...start engine using it as a food mixer :D

I would have bought a HD but I couldnt & wouldnt fork out that much dosh...I am afterall a Yorkshireman...who was born in Scotland

there was a load of Harleys out at the weekend...they saw a bit of sunshine & went mad...

Hi duffy, I also got out last week twice in fact, sunny but a bit cold on the hands, any way I also found ton up riding a bit of a wrench on the arms. so I have fitted a small custon screen (F.FABBRI) I picked up in bikestop in stevenage last year. It's about 14" high and puts the wind straight over my shoulders it has made all the difference. did'nt use the ugly brackets made some out o 1" flat alloy bar comig of the underneath top yolk and of the top mount on handle bar clamp.I'post a picture if I could work out how, but send your e-mail and then I could, I also stuggled with the stock seat putting all my weight on the base of the spine, so i have had it filled in so it is now flat all the way across front to back and it's alot better had the passenger recovered at the same time. much more comfortable.Like I say pop me a line grahamwilliamfield@ntlworld.com and i'll gets some pic's to you. :D :D :D
cheers

Stays in the kitchen in winter next to the radiator...wouldnt want it to get cold now in my draughty garage...as its a second bike it only goes out on extremely nice days ...lol

Did get a bit damp when my mains water sprung a leak though... had to dig the kitchen floor up to fix it...think it was caused by the vibes from the bike when i started it up

Imported mine from the states ... wouldnt pay the price of them in this country too bl##dy expensive

Hey VTXDuffy try the pipes with the baffles out  what a noise my next door neighbour will have a heart attack and be  .He is in the plod ha ha .
I was going to shorten mine a wee bit and fit thunder monsters same as mate did but im sure to get pulled .
I weighed the std pipes and they are 35lbs and the v&h are 12lb with the heatsheilds off but they weigh nowt .
As for scaping the pegs get a set of forwards like buzzlightyears and they will give you a little extra height .
Harleys out at this time oh year no way you must be seeing things  .
Oh i laddie so you are Jock in Yorkshire :P
