Well, Chadman here from Wisconsin USA..... Soon to be a Jamberoo, NSW resident. (Approx. June 2nd.) It finally warmed up enough here in Wisconsin to get the bike home and put a few of the new bits on it. Still have some Kuryakyn Flamed grips, and a chrome flamed radiator cover to put on. And really closed to getting some Flame stemmed mirrors. I just had to get a recent pic of the "Blurple" beauty. Can't wait to get to Oz with her and travel the great twisty roads around Jamberoo, Kiama and the Minnumarra Rain Forest... SWEEEEET!

Looking nice - those flamed grips and radiator cover will make it look even better.
You must hate not being able to ride all year round - I know I would.

Thanks beaker, yeah it's rough not being able to drive all year round. But I am used to the cold elements, so driving over there durring the winter months won't be too bad either. Have the leather with zip out liner and heavy chaps to roll.
I just got the grips on and yeah very cool. Having a few minor issues with the radiator grill i just got - looks like all i need is an extra set of hands for a moment or 2 and it should be much better. I will update a couple pics when i can.

hey chadman - did you make it to OZ? nice bigshots, watch out for the police as they exceed the noise pollution laws - I should know, I've got them too! I'm in Sydney, if you're looking for a ride sometime, give me a hoy and we'll see if we can cruise somewhere in style. I've got a mate with an 1800 X who lives at Narellan (don't know if you know where that is) on the southern outskirts of Sydney, about 40 mins ride to the 'Gong.
catch you later.

Welcome back Chadman - now, you need to get that baby registered as soon as and get on the road. You probably have the only blue 1300 in the country - don't think they released em here in that colour - just black, cherry and orange.
How come you made the move back - work or family?? Were you born in Oz?? Sorry about all the questions mate, just curious.
I would like to eventually meet up with you and the other guys from down south - am looking at planning a Midway Meet-n-Greet @ Macksville (http://www.vtxoa.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=157184) early next year - hardest thing is trying to coordinate it so everyone can make it.
Cheers mate and keep us posted.

Well guys,
Did the rego thing today but as one could only expect. I had yet another piece of paperwork to send away. There is an inport tag I need to get so we shall see how long they take on getting that back to me. I don't suspect it will be too long, since they just have to see the OK from the blue slip guy and mail me the tag back. Should be fairly quick.
As for me - I am a yank who married an aussie. Lived here from 99 to 01 and was married here in 2000. Went back for 5 years for a couple reason but mainly so the wife could experience the US. We pretty much knew we were going to live here in the end so back to the metropolis of Jamberoo we moved. Of course I had to bring a few extra toys and the VTX was at the top of the list.
I'll continue to keep ya posted. Unfortunately the job does not give me a lot of time to get away except for the day. (sales) But where there is a will there is a way. Again, Ill keep ya posted.
I'll
