I have CP Punishers on my 1300. I have no idea where to mount GPS/iPod, etc. The bars are fat. All mounts seem to max out at 1 1/4".

Have you checked the ram mounts website? Here's their addy..not knowing specifics of your bike and such I couldn't go any further to see if they have something that fits bigger bars....

RoadRage Jeff manufactures a lid for the master cylinder that accepts a Garmin unit. Qualit part.

Ram makes a mount. I have 1 1/2" Bars on my Boss Hoss and have a GPS and XM mounted with their stuff. They also make reservoir mounts that you might be able to use.

Call Cyclegadgets and tell them what you need to mount and where. I've dealt with them a couple of times and they are knowledgible and fair. http://www.cyclegadgets.com/

Check out the new QREMM-SL quick release mounting bracket from Mounting Innovations. www.mountinginnovations.com (http://www.mountinginnovations.com)

With the RAM U-bolt for fat handlebars or the reservior base mount, the QREMM-SL repositions the quick release mount from behind the Iway to below the IWAY. This gives you a much greater range of positioning options, as well as redistributes the weight from the back to underneith.

Check out the video demos at www.mountinginnovations.com (http://www.mountinginnovations.com)

The QREMM-Sl Quick Release has a safety latch that protects your GPS from accidently falling off the bike. It also allows you to mount your video camera. Swapping between your GPS and Video Camera takes about 3 seconds.

If you plan to go to the ROT rally next weekend, having a video camera mounted on your bike will be a lot of fun.

Here's a shot of the dual ball chrome mount that I picked up from cyclegadgets - I put it on - looks just so-so. I was in the same boat I have the CP 1.5" fatties. I'm going to take it off and rig something with a tank bag instead.

I have the tomtom rider, BTW (which is amazing).
