Pear Tree Inn in Paducah. $59 and change for 2 double beds non smoking April 8th. Within 1/2 mile of a Damons, a Fridays and a Logans Steak House. Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Call and reserve a room yourself the reservation number is 1 800 378 7946. The local number for the hotel is 1 270 444 7200. This way if we get rained out we can each cancel by 6pm and not be charged. Meeting places Louisville: 8:30am April 8th Eastern Daylight Time Dairy Queen Hwy 150 .7 miles north of I64. Kickstands up at 9:00. Hoovey and Racer - we can pick you guys up on the way at Corydon exit and Santa Clause exit. Evansville: Hwy 57 and I 64 Meet at 9:30 Central Daylight Time... Kickstands up at 10:00. It is a Circle A about 1/4 mile north of I-64 on SR 57 is a Gas station/truck stop with a SubWay it's the only place at the exit it should be easy enough to find

Hoovery, Racer, and I will make a call on the weather and post here on Friday AM Let's hope for the best, looks like they are gradually moving up the time that they expect the front to move through... Looks like the Rain will be moving out of Louisville just before we leave on Saturday but the forecast looks good for Evansville and Southern Illinois.... Termite, let me know what you decide to do.[b]

Thanks Timmer, I don't mind being cold or wet...but I hate being cold and wet. :cry:

Its a long way off for Spring weather forecasting but April 14 - 16 is looking beautiful!!

I'll keep my eyes on this thread and make the decision Friday am.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low near 33. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high around 62. Light east northeast wind.


Paducah---Saturday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 58. North wind between 9 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low near 33. North northeast wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.

hwy 150 at dairy queen at 8:30 Louisville time, sounds good to me. I can't keep up with time zones and stuff. must be the old age.
