Highway Pirate Party @ Lee Island Pirate Fest
Okay gang, here’s the scoop….one of my good friends from New Orleans has relocated his 80’ schooner to Key West(www.schoonerjollyrover.com (http://www.schoonerjollyrover.com)) and will actually have it in Ft. Meyers for the Lee Island Pirate Festival May 6-7, (http://www.leepiratefest.com/). All proceeds of this event benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation so it’s FUN with a PURPOSE! Ride, play pirate – loot, pillage, plunder, you know the drill – and help support a worthy cause – what more could we ask?
The following arrangements have been made:
Pirate Fest Gate Fee: $14/adult, youth under 12 $6 (pay at gate or in advance).
Jolly II Rover “Highway Pirate” Party & Cruise - $35 pp. (Fee of $25 for the cruise, $3 for beverages & party food, and a $7.00 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation) to be paid in advance to RSVP your spot. Cruise is limited to the 1st 48 (load limit of the boat) so it is imperative you act quickly – there will be no “catch you the day of’s”. RSVP payments can be made in advance by Paypal, Visa/MasterCard or other legal tender – sorry no personal checks.
Hotel: The Best Western Waterfront(www.bestwesternwaterfront.com (http://www.bestwesternwaterfront.com)) has extended a discounted group rate of $79/night (two double beds) – regularly $119. Reservations are to be made on an individual basis at 800-274-5511. A deadline of 4/30/06 is required to have a guaranteed room & rate. PM me for the Group discount code. Check in is on 5/6/06 at 1300hrs, (start thinking pirate!), with check out being 1100 on 5/7.
Should you wish to RSVP a spot on the cruise, please email me at cajundude06@bellsouth.net with the following information:
• Full Name.
• # Of spots to reserve for “Highway Pirate Party”, with names
• # Of advanced purchase Festival Tickets adults & youth.
• Email address to have Paypal invoice sent to.
I know it's the weekend after Leesburg, but it should be great fun.....
