A while ago I purchased this service that would allow you to register your motorcyle with the service and view the shop service manual for the motorcycles you had registered. Since my sons and I had 4 different motorcycles I thought this was a good deal.

I bought the service and registered all the motorcycles. I then found out that you could only look at one shop manual for all the motorcycles I had registered (it must have been in the fine print).

Anyway since I owned the VTX I looked at the manual which was a collection of .jpg images for each page in the manual. In order to look at the pages they were downloaded to my system.

Well I have since cancelled the service but I still have all the shop manual pages on my system for a VTX1800. It takes about 31MB of space and I wrote a table of contents that maps to each page (image).

I don't think I can post the images (takes up too much space) , but I can send a private copy to you if you like. Just send mail to 'kbdmng@ptcnh.net' if you would like a copy.

-Keith

 Manual is too large to send in an e-mail message.

Looks like it will have to be ftp'd for now. So if you want it you will need to let me know where I can ftp to.

In the meantime I will try to figure how to break it up into managable chunks so it can be sent via e-mail.

...but it is still too large to send via email. However all is not lost, I was able to post it in a location that can be access for download. So if you are interested in the instructions on how to get a copy please email me at 'kbdmng@ptcnh.net'. Thanks, -Keith

I copied the kbdmng@ptcnh.net and pasted it in my browser, but I don't see how to send an email to you.
I clicked on everything on the site but nothing seemed to work.
I would be very thankful for a VTX 1800 C manual.
I want to put a power port of some type to power my iPod and eventually a commuication system to talk to my passenger and then other bikes.

I am just not comfortable monkeying with the wiring system without a little more information.
Thanks in Advance.

Ride safe !
