Dammit Dave (update 2)

Well just got back from the hospital in Louisville. Dave has 5 broken ribs. He's heavily medicated to ease the pain and allow him to breath. He wasn't sure who I was when I was there and told me he and Dorothy have tickets to see Fats Domino at Ceasars!. Actually He and I are suppost to go there Fri the 14th to se B.B. King.

Damn he gets all the good drugs.

We have no idea how long he'll be off work. He may not heal well enough to ride again this summer. Doc sez "Lets get him thru this", talking about his difficult time breathing...low O2 levels in his blood.

Prayers and thoughts appreciated.........Y'all be safe.

Dave is home, with his wife, she has to be with him constantly. Breathing difficulties. He's on home O2 and mild pain killers. I saw him yesterday (Sat) and he's pretty alert now, Just goofy lookin. Oxycontin, 1/2 dose. To ease his pain. He informed me that he was improving but still a ways out from any real activities. He goes to the grocery with Lyn, and has been out to home depot. Other than that, it's the bed and his favorite chair. He's still doing breathing treatments a few times a day. He has told me to tell everone "Hi" and be looking for him. We sat saturday and talked about the trading vs selling his bike. He wants another, I think he pretty well setteled on a Yamaha road warrior. Depends on how his money works out on his shadow. If you know someone interested, get in contact with me..........We'll go from there.

Cross your fingers and say a lil prayer, maybe he'll be back at work by mid june, and able to ride by July. I miss my ridin buddy. The big dummy!!
