I left for Australia two weeks ago. Got all the way to the airport and it hit me that I'd forgot to cover the bike. I have a carport and thought it would probably be ok...but I didn't expect the 7 feet of rain over the last two weeks.

Now there are little rust spots on my brand new bars and the forks. Anything you guys can suggest?

Sorry to hear that.

I would have gone over to cover it for you.

Where is the rust?

I'm not really sure what will remove the rust. I thought I heard that Naval Jelly works on rust.

I look into it.

If it is still surface rust you can use NeverDull to clean it off. You can pick it up normally in household cleaning supplies. AF1 they got some at the BX by the goo gone.

Ended up using Eagle One Nano Polish. All rust gone!
