I am looking for a schedule of rides for this summer. I have never been out with a pack before and would really like to experiance it. It sounds like a good time.

The New England VTX Riders board is more of a pickup ride type of board. If you are looking for organized/scheduled rides with mostly VTX's go to www.massvtxriders.com (http://www.massvtxriders.com) . The folks there also advertise www.nevtxriders.com (http://www.nevtxriders.com) but that is not an extension of this board as it is owned and operated by someone other than HDL.
Whichever group you decide to ride with be sure to inform them of your inexperience riding with groups. Although it goes counter to intuition you, as being new to the experience, will want to ride near the front as opposed to the rear. Don't be afraid to ride YOUR ride. That is go at speeds that you are comfortable with. If the pack is traveling faster than your comfort level signal and pull over. Exceeding ones limits when travelling in groups rarely ends well.
Ride Safe.

Thanks Ux. It's good to see you posting again. How do you like those new Avons?

So far so good with the Avon's hard to really tell yet I guess.
Are you working on the New England Riders Quahog thing this spring or is it all Ken this year? That will be a good run to test the Avons on the flat twisties. Matter aof fact as soon as you get through piddling around with your X we should go hit that section and you can ride it to see what you think! Hurry up!
