View Full Version : Mounting I-way 500 GPS on 1300c

Its not rocket science :shock: , but I just figured out I could mount the I-Way using the provided handle bar mount to the riser of the 1300c handlebar so it sits lower and more forward. Here are a few pics:

I also replaced the provide r.a.m. quick mount with a fixed ball to reduce vibration and length of the mount.

That looks good egan. That is a great idea. I got a similar look by attaching the handlebar ram ball mount in the middle of the handlebar but pointing towards the front fender. Then I just attach the iWay with the 1"ram mount pointing towards me. It seems to work pretty good too.

I like your setup, it seems more streemline. Here is what I've been using. It has a quick release tab that lets me remove the Iway with maintaining the same position all the time. I may play around with it and try your setup.

An important difference is that I have the 1300C which has 1" tubular risers.
