Well...had the bike run on the dyno today...Arrow Engineering at Bawtry...top blokes they tune my mates race bike.

:D They were mighty impressed with VTX, having never seen one before...was almost spot on at full throttle ...just needed leaning out on low/mid throttle...the difference is amazing...

Ive used power commanders before..n its always well worth paying £100 to get them mapped to your bike.

Having decided to take the very scenic 100+ mile route home...at a decent pace...I'm getting just under 40 miles to the gallon 8)

Stopped off at Sherburn on the way...only to have sports bike riders whining that it wasnt fair that I could get away with such loud pipes

Graham...where did you get the progressive fork springs...I HAVE to get some ...

Cheers

Hi Duffy, I got the springs from HDL who sponsor this forum ( top of page ) they are very good and also take paypal which is a help. I've been out and now and have ordered the rear shocks to match, the back end is bouncing all over the place. The front does not sit down and stay down like the old springs. What pipes have you put on ? and are they really all that loud
if you do get some springs you'll need the tool I have to do them Its not a big job really. we could meet up oneday and I'll bring the tool along too.
Cheers,
graham.
