I know the tire question has been beaten to death, but here's my issue: ('02 1800R 180/70R16 for rear, 150/80R17 for fronts)
Question 1: H or V Speed rating ? I understand the rating for max speed, but does it have any effect on wear or handling?
Question 2: Is it worth the increased cost to go to "V" rated?
Question 3: Is the G701 the correctly paired front for the Bridgestone ExedraMax rear?
Current prices per pair from a unnamed cycle "superstore"
Metz 880 (no 888's for our sizes, right) "H" = $361 "V" = $416
Avon Cobras "H" = $367 "V" =$362
Dunlop Elite3 = $372
Bridgestone Exedra (Max rear & G701 front) = $311
Shinko = $238
I have read the endless pages of debate on preferences and don;t know that I can "go wrong" with any brand listed about (exept Shinko - just not as much out there on them) but still wnat to make an informed decision.
