I am now using synthetic oil, specifically for V Twins, and have been for a while. I got lazy and went a while without checking the oil level. When I checked it, it was barely showing on the bottom...
Well, I bought them. They took longer to install than I expected. Nothing was really complicated, though. Getting the old mufflers and hardware off took the most of the time. The sound is just...
Thanks. Is removing the pair valve difficult? What is the reason for removing it? How long does it take? Thanks for any advice?
I am considering these for my 2007 VTX R. Is a jet kit necessary? Should I be concerned with blueing of the metal? Does it always occur? Thanks for any advise.:D
Does anyone have any pictures or suggestions on the best way to do this? I bought a waterproof case and a direct wire cable from Amazon. The case is great but the cable is a piece of s__t. The...
They used to ride more on Sundays but now Saturdays are beginning to get equal time. They took a poll not long ago on Sat vs. Sun and I think they found out more people like Saturday. The Lake Lure...
Any of you in the Charlotte who would enjoy riding with a group should take a look at http://www.meetup.com/Diversity-Riders/. I am a member of this group and have enjoyed riding with them. It...
I recently ordered one like it for the same price of $79.00. They even shipped it for free. It came in a couple of days ago. I tried it on and it is great for the price. I haven't actually worn...

If the noise bother you, think of what it is doing to your dog!
Hi Folk's:
Back again after doing the mod last weekend. I went only one deep. Do you recommend going two or three deep and will that ad a lot more deep or volumn to the sound?
Thanks, Gary
Well, here I am after doing the mod yesterday. After attempting to spend time doing a template, I said to heck with it and just used a scratch awl to punch seven holes evenly through the outer...
OK, now I am going to buy the titanium bits to get started. I 'll post again later to let you know how it went. Thanks!
I have the R. The Baffle surface is uneven but I could still manage 7 holes. I would probably look best to drill two holes at the top though because of the way the surface is shaped.
Thanks. Do you think the 1/2 holes are too big for the seven hole mod?
I am considering doing this today on my bike. I plan on using the 1/2 bit and six holes like the version on YouTube.com. Should I be concerned about backfire in deceleration as a result of the mod?...
OK. Good luck. I pray for you.
Thanks for the responses. I would like to ride some this Saturday morning October 3rd, until about noon. I could meet some of you at at a fast food restaurant somewhere at about 8am or later. I like...
Are any of you Charlotte, Matthews, or Monroe riders interested in riding on week ends? I live in Unionville, north of Monroe and south of Concord off Hwy 601. If you are interested in a group ride,...
I just put some on about a week ago. They fit great and the factory cables work fine. They make the bike much more comfortable to ride. I wish I had bought them much sooner. I highly recommend...
I am looking for 4.5" risers for 1300R. There are some for sale on ebay motors for about $50. I have seen others on cycle parts nation for about the same price. I am not sure they will fit. Do any of...
