I have Progressive springs in the tube's. You can get lowering or stock size. the make a big difference in handling and ride. they are pretty cheap, like 65 bucks, and pretty easy to install. Smitt

I put thin rubber spacer's under the dash, on the ends of the screws . You also might be getting rattle from the speedo to. I put a small thin strip of foam, sticky on one side, between the speedo...
