Default Couple new bikes headed for Kauai

    Aloha

Hey guys, we have a customer here that has bought a home on Kauai, I believe in the Kapaa area. He will be moving in a month or so. Keep an eye out for a blue with orange flame custom chopper (American V Twin) and a Honda Aero with white walls, old school look. His name is Mike and he is a pretty nice guy. Give a wave when you see him.

He did ask me to see if anyone there might know of a good shipping company to use. He has a container that he is putting one bike in, but is wanting to ship the other bike on it's own so he has it there when he gets there. The bike is already crated and ready to go. If anyone knows of a good freighter that services that island and would handle the pick-up from the Chicago area, please send me a PM.

I used MoverQuest. talk to Barry. They used Allied Lines to pick up the bike in IL just south of Chitown, and took it to CA, then used Pasha Lines (MV Jean Anne) to boat it to HI for me. Bike arrived in top notch condition.

Also, the best price I found.

DAS (ebay movers) wanted $2200 (and it would be containerized), MQ got me for $1500 on a roll-on ship.

You ship without keys, but forks unlocked. Tank <1/4. Be advised, for boat transport, the original skid the bike is put on will not be the one you take it off of here. They use a heavy metal skid for the ocean part.
