Default 240/50 Sumo-X Fat Tire Kit Install

Does anybody have any "Step-by-Step" instructions for installing a SUMO-X Fat tire kit on an VTX 1800 C ? Not exactly sure where to cut the ears, how to unistall the final drive and wiring. Thanks!

Get a service manual, it has all the details you want with pictures included. Really a neccessity for large jobs like this. Also, contact SumoX for their torque specs on their parts.

Summo x had pictures on their web site showing where to cut the frame and also how to install the the rear end after your swingarm has been modified to take a 240/250 .As for the lights just disconnect all the wires and and if fitting a side mount join them up .The same goes for the rear flashers .

    bigwaks,
Like saltire mentioned SumoX has instructions on their website. I did a little write up for my SumoX build. You can check my site out here.

My bike is a 1800R not a "C" model. It will give an idea what's involved.

    Cheers!
