Any suggestions on where to buy chaps at a good price?

Leatherup is cheap but watch the sizing. They tend to run small. I have returned 3 orders so far because they were way smaller than the listed size. I am giving up with them and getting custom made chaps and jacket from fox creek. Way more expensive but will last forever.

What kind? I'm not a big fan of the "Village People" leather cheekless chaps. Why? Well, because of the Village People. I went with textile chaps from Colorado Chaps and they are very nice and fold up smaller than leather chaps do so they take up less space

Default Not a problem with sizing

I have purchased several items from www.leatherup.com for myself and my wife chaps included. All fit great and were great quality at a lower price. The have a great return policy and are very friendly to deal with.

I got mine from here - but they're (relatively) local. Good quality.

If your anywhere near a Rural King store, the local stores around here carry a line of leather M/C supplies, including chaps at fair prices and you can see exactly what your getting, unlike mail order. I don't know if all their stores carry them or not. They don't show up on a search of the site.

I bought a pair from Jafrum.com. I think they were about 50 bucks with shipping. They were my first pair, so I don't have anything to compare them to. They seem like good quality. A friend of mine got some from leatherup.com, he seems to like them.

Caveat Emptor when you buy on-line. Way too many gotchas that could and did happen. I physically shopped and shopped for mine and glad I did. Have them for 20 years now and haven't seen a pair as thick yet plus they fit perfectly. Be cautious.

I like those also...........I always wondered about chaps not having anything to cover peoples rear end & all.............Good chance you could end up sliding on the asphalt on your backside............Those would work better and not be as breezy in cold weather............ Rod

Firstgear full leather pants over jeans. Have you ever crashed? Guaranteed you will roll over on your bumm when sliding 50 feet on the road. Might as well have your ass protected and knees armored.

Most chaps I have seen are thin leather fashion items. Not real crash protection.
