I just noticed that there is a black knob between the two jugs on the left (driver) side, what is that for ? Also, on the instrument panel, there is light marked F1, what is that for ?

Once you have an error code you can reference the table below to find out where your problem is.

At this time I have refrained from listing the exact procedure for troubleshooting every single cause because there are about 40 pages of detailed instructions in the manual outlining the procedures - many requiring special tools. It is too tedious a task for me to crunch all that data right now, but perhaps one day in the future I'll get to it (I think more folks would prefer I spend the time completing my valve adjustment write-up, lol).

ok, thanks for the info guys. I don't have any error codes, but just noticed the light marked F1 on the panel for the first time today and was curious - I'm still very new to the VTX. Also, I tried turning the idle adjustment a little today just to see what it would do but there seemed to be a good bit of spring resistance so I didn't force it, not wanting to break anything on my pretty vtx. Does anything have to be loosened before the idle speed adjustment knob will turn ?
