    Default Birmingham....Need advice

Was thinking about taking a weekend trip this weekend to Birmingham, with son and maybe wife.
    Not riding the bike.
Wondering about anything going on this weekend worth while.
Got a few places to go see, but never been and spent any time there, so
Looking for advice on must see, do, or eating places.
Son is 14, so has to be PG13 rated

    Thanks

Barbers Vintage Motorsports Museum. Its just outside Birmingham (Leeds) just off of I-20. Well worth the trip if you are into motorcyles, racing, etc.

Sloss furnace, Vulcan statue, 5 points in southside (restaurants and shops) , civil rights museum. Take a short ride over to Tuscaloosa and see the Paul "Bear" Bryant museam at UA.

Rode the Dragon without the benefit of a car tire and lived to tell about it.
