Cherry Poppin' in Crystal Lake
I took my first ride on my new (to me) VTX 1800 yesterday. After riding a 600cc bike for the last 4 years, I finally upgraded to the VTX 1800 last November. I left it at the dealership for winter storage and had them deliver it to my house yesterday. Sunday is supposed to be nice, and wifey had plans for me to go to a show at the high school she works at. I just got out of that and the day is now wide open for getting used to my new VTX!

I was at honda northwest on Thursday to pick up my new front tire and brakes for the bike. They had 7 Xes on the floor 2 1800 and 5 1300. I think they were all silver

Rats! Exposed again! Since Chuck, aka "Dark VTX" mentions it, however, I'm always willing to tag along on light plane rides. I was a student pilot once, logging some 17 hours in a Cessna 152 before finances made me cease taking lessons. Of course, the fact that all of this happened many more years ago than I care to admit to means I am only qualified to be a passenger these days.skiwoods,

Well it just happens that I share ownership in that 182 and it's based at Schaumburg Airport. I'm always happy to take a fellow aviation enthusiast up! Some chow at Pilot Pete's after the airplane ride is always a good way to recipricate...
