Front end question
Hi all,
I've noticed over the past few weeks, an interesting occurence when lifting my bike off of the kickstand. I get on and grab the front brake, lift it off of the stand, and let go of the brake. The front end drops an inch, inch and a half. It's an 05, and never had a fluid change in the forks. It doesn't leak, but could it be time. I've done all of the work on it since purchase, and have been considering changing the springs over to GW's, but have not looked forward to messing with my forks.
Has anyone else experienced this, and what was the fix?

Could just be settling after being at full extension. Check bareasschoppers.com for the spring replacement section. He has a few pictures showing the exposed fork difference between stock and progressives. If your exposure falls to within half an inch of what his picture shows I'd think you are good to go. Otherwise time for a change.

Woody's fairing, Parrot Asteroid, Rockford Fosgate 300x4 and Polk db521 speakers. All mounted and wired. Needs paint!

Normal with stock springs.
Fix? New springs.
On the stand, it took a 100lbs off the front.
The forks are not friction-less, that's what Stiction is.

We have a gang shooting on 3rd and Main. Three wounded, one dead.
Is it just me or is rap getting lazier?

Thx e1. Funny thing is, I never noticed it before.
