Ride For Kids, April 15th

"The South Florida Ride for Kids Task Force would like to remind you of our upcoming 2012 South Florida Ride for Kids being held SUNDAY, APRIL 15th at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

The park is located at 401 South Powerline Road, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442. Directions:maps.google.com/maps

Registration opens at 8 AM, closes at 9:45 AM with the Police Escorted Ride departing promptly at 10 AM, rain or shine.
Cost is $35.00 which includes the rider, passenger, light breakfast, light lunch, over 40 mile Police Escorted Ride and the Celebration of Life Program.
Anyone interested in volunteering to help out on the day of the ride, PLEASE contact Barbara at gottob2@sbcglobal.net. You will be required to attend a pre-ride meeting at 7PM on Thursday April 12^th. You do not have to be a motorcyclist but must be 18 years old or older. All volunteers receive an event T-Shirt and contribute to a great cause.

LOL, my wife will attest that I'm not much of a cook..... I'm much better at eating.

For the record....You are all welcome to my place for a cup of Joe. I'll be happy to pick up some bagles and donuts if you guys want to meet at my house.

Just the same..... there IS a DD on the corner of 10th and Powerline, by the gas station. That might be a good place to meet up so we can roll in together, (but I would be happy to host you fine folks).

It was only a joke, but tx for the offer. They have coffee, donuts, bagels, ect. at the morning starting point for the ride.

RFK is coming up at the end of the week.
Earlier I mentioned the gas station on SW 10th St and Powerline Rd as a likely meet up place so we can roll in together.

Registration at the park is from 8am to 9:45 with kicks at 10am sharp. I usually register the day of the event because of our crazy weather.

What time do you all want to meet?

I posted it on the Palm Beach Cruisers. That gas station is on the SW corner of Powerline & 10th Street. Meeting there at 8:45 and then by the time we roll out it will be 9:00 or so.
