Default rain cover for Hurricane air kit

Just put my Hurricane air kit on, Im wondering if the bikes going to run like complete garbage if/when I get caught in the rain. Do they make a rain sock for the Hurricane?

I keep mine in the tool compartment behind the left side cover.

Thanks Eazy, thats what I need. Can you share a little tuning tip. I went with a DJ stage 3 kit. I used the 210 main the DJ suplied spring and went 2.5 turns out on a/f. Test drive today and it seemed like there was a little lul in the power delivery. Not a hesitation or stumble, but it seams like slow speed 1st gear roll on the throttle and the power isnt fully there till the rpm's build a little. Tech support at Thunder manufacturing told me to tweek the carb by with bike running turn a/f so the idle increases and then back it off towards the other direction till it stumbles then 1/2 turn back the other way. Tech told me that should be the correct setting. Sound rite or better tip?

That's right how to set the a/f. I posted on your other post, just try a 10 thousandths shim under the needle clip to raise a tad.

Ordered mine last week from Direct. Let me know how it works out. I can't see it changing the A/F mixture, but I could be wrong. I have been in major rain since I put mine on, I hate the rain. With mine it sucks water like a straw, I find a place to pull over and cover fast. I'm not sure how much the cover will help, but any would be great. But mine is a Tornado, might be worse then yours.Smitt

Smitt, With the cover on while raining, does water still get into the air filter? How does yours run in the rain with the cover on? Thats what made me think twice about buying the system I did. I tend too be a fair weather rider, but you always can get caught in a rain storm with the best of planning

Didn't get mine yet. I also try not to ride in the rain. but sometimes you can't avoid it. Mine, like I said sucks bad in the rain, that why I ordered one. So not sure how well it's going to work, but it's worth a try, has to be better. I will let ya know when I get mine and get rained on , lol. Smitt

Thats probably my only choice. Weather has turned back to what our spring is supposed to be and its freazing. Was barely 40 degrees last night, but I was out for a little bit.

O, by the way. I ordered from DLP and they said is was on order and said it should be in this week. I looked on Thunder and they had them in stock. Not that I'm cheap but they were 4 buck more, lol. I'll wait for DLP, plus they are way good to us. Smitt
