Moonshine Lunch Run - April 14, 2012

Missouri Riders - It's that time of year again for the Moonshine Lunch Run.

We have a group of 10-12 going to this event on Saturday, April 14:

Tentative plan:

The Wentzville group will gather around 5:30 am and be moving east by 6am. We can make 1-2 stops as we head east to pick up others along the route.

Last year the last stop was off 270 and Lilly Rd just before IL last year. Let me know the areas we have interested riders and we can map the route east and confirm some stops.

Update - Looks like we have a nice little group interested in the Moonshine ride. Tentative plan is start at Wentzville - QT on Wentzville Pkwy near 61 at 6am. Depart between 6 am - 6:15am. Take I-70 to I-270 to Lilac. I believe there is a QT south of I-270 on Lilac. Meet another group there at 7am. Depart around 7:15am taking I-270 (I-70) through IL to Casey, IL. Moonshine is south of Casey, IL.

Greetings. I was wondering when you guys are going to return from this trip? Are you staying overnight or returning home that evening. I live at 70 and Cave Springs and would like to follow if I can get away.

just to be clear.... you're running I-70 to I-270 and then heading north/east on I-270, right?

Yep - I-270 becomes I-70 again.

We make this a day trip. Leave early in the morning and home by dinner.

I ride a Black VTX 1800. Your best choice to meet us would be the Lilac and270 QT at about 7am.

Weather permitting - Moonshine is still a go.

Forecast is calling for rain but if it is dry in the morning, plan to meet up and go.

Last year we waited out the rain and had a great day getting sunburned on the ride home.

Let's hope the forecast is wrong and we have a dry day to enjoy a ride to Moonshine.

Sorry for the late update - Lost power and internet service this morning.

Thought about recommending a later start today but radar shows more rain with severe weather coming.

Stay dry today.

Maybe we can still schedule a visit to Moonshine in the near future.

........for me, Saturdays are out...........too early. Also, I dont think I would take a day off for a burger run out there. Just me, but I would rather use a day off a bit different.
