    Default Headed to birmingham--need advice/suggestions

We're headed tomorrow to spend a few days just to get away from home.

Coming down with wife, son, daughter, and granddaughter.

    Never been to B-ham.

Looking for any must see places in the area down there or places you have to eat at.

Any motorcycle shops that are a must see?

Also, best parts of town to stay in ? Hearing about some BIG differences in sides of town

    Thanks in advance.

Ok, have to ask what is on the 5th floor of the museum as it is showing you can get to that floor during the time that we will be there.

    Just curious

This weekend is Indy car racing, might have something to do with that...idk. Otherwise it has some pretty old stuff up there....nice Vintage Floor.
Never ate anything in Bham I considered real special..... they have the usual Carrabbas, Logans, Blue Moon, Five guys, blah, blah, yada, yada. Good food at all, but nothing I would call special. Nice sushi bar in five points. Might stop by the courtyard for Saturday Lunch, good food lotsa bikes to look at....or the zoo, I dont know if the Botanical Gardens are open yet....idk With this weather probably so.....ride safe, safe travels..
Best sides of town, south....Inverness, hoover, I-459 and Hwy 280 area, sw area....i-459 and i 65 area.

Fleming's Steakhouse is a great place to eat.

Also the Birmingham zoo would be nice for the kids.
