i everyone, noticed no activitty for about 6 months anyone still out there, i currentlky ride with shadow riders but have bought a vtx for reconstruction , nearly complete, just need to quieten my V&H for idiot rules to go over pits any advice.
Simon if thats you are thgere any patches left, if so can you bring one to saturdays veteran run ??

Mate , what can I say, bloody awesome.................

30 days, 8500km. and only rode in the rain on the first day.

Loved Tassie. They can actually fit corners inside corners down there. Great roads and amazing scenery. Found some great places to stay down there

Did the Great Ocean Road on the way back. Loved it too. They need to give it a bit of tender loving care though.

Made it back home here a week before most of Victoria and New South Wales went under water.

Will definitely be going back down there again

Hi Angelic, Welcome to VTXOA, yes it's a bit quiet, I'm Spidrfire, I live in Rockingham, there are afew rides here and there, just check Sunday times or facebook. I'm guilty of not been on this page alot as well.

you'll struggle to get it legal for the pits. I've got Bigshots. ages ago I contacted a muffler dude who specialised in quietening noisy pipes, once I told him I had the X and V+H's he told me there was no way he could make them legal.

Put a set of these into my Cobra's to take the bark off them


They seem to reach a certain volume and then dont get any louder no matter how much you ring it's neck.
They definitely aren't quiet, just more socialable

Hi Ang! Ive been away from the site for a while,back now how is everyone?! Ive spent quite a few hours modding my Vance and Hines big shots as I was very dissapointed in the results of the bought quite baffles. I can cheaply/ easily modd them to how loud or quite and how much back pressure for better low down torque. You can go for a blat down the road an instantly hear and feel the difference and It takes seconds to change when set up. If interested let me know.
Currently modding Pillion backrest for Sumo x solo set up. Will post pics soon

Did the same on the 1800 to quieten the Cobra Slashdowns. They worked pretty well although I had to change the Power Commander map as it was running way too rich. Ended up with the standard map for original pipes and Im getting 17klm to the litre.. Not sure if this is good though...
