    Default Need quick help...missing piece

Last night, I removed my seat, tank and petcock. When I put everything together, I found this under my bike. Looks like a spacer22photo.jpg11photo.jpg about 1 1/2 long. Any idea what this is?

Them boys nailed it. Tank spacer. Goes insie the rubber grommet, under the bolt. Keeps you from tightening the tank down solid. It allows it to "float" on the grommet.
Back on the road. 2003 lightly moddified 118ci C model.
