I just seen the longest round trip post and thought that was pretty good. And I know this most definately has probably been posted before, but I guess it can build my post count.
So anyways, what's your longest DAY trip? Mine ticks in right at 700 miles on a stock seat. From Dumas, Texas to Wright, Wyoming.
The day before was 500 miles in monsoon rain through Texas this September (7th or 8th) when they got like 15 inches in Austin and 11 inches in Dallas. So if you seen two idiots on the road on a bike from Sulpher Springs to Dumas, Texas, that was my brother and I! Ha.
Day trip to me is a round trip, I rode to memphis for lunch then back home right at 800 miles .
Most miles in a day was 960 taking a scenic route to charlotte n.c., longest miserable ride was last weekend I rode 798 miles to louisiana for a craw fish boil, took 15 hours to get there and over 14 of those were in a toad strangling down pour, hell yeah I would do them all again.
See you out there

Not long compaired to you guys but I ride from Memphis, TN. to Sikeston, Mo. at least twice a year and eat lunch at Lamberts Cafe. Its about 300 miles round trip. They have some good food, and they throw the rolls to your table.
Ahh, that brings back some good memories. I went to college in Springfield, MO, and we always went to Lambert's Cafe. I got so stuffed on the rolls and other fixins that they bring around that I could barely eat my main meal.
Most of my same-day rides have been in the 600-700 mile range. I've never traveled alone to any of my destinations, so I don't know how much I could do in one day by myself. I'm never uncomfortable after these rides, so I imagine I could ride longer without issue. I do want to do an IBA ride just to see what it's like.
We did 1060 miles in about 21 hours for our Ironbutt. Started in Milwaukee, drove to Minneapolis, then Duluth, it got really cold, drove across Michigan UP, then back down to Milwaukee in the cold dark. That sucked.
Brycesdad, Radioactive, and Hindsight all came along while I had the woman on back. Longest day indeed, deer were everywhere in Michigan once the sun went down.
Ultimate Big Boy ensured we were not really sore at all.
Longest ride was two years ago enroute to Sturgis. Me and a friend left at 4pm Sunday afternoon and stopped for the night at 4pm Monday afternoon in Sioux City Sd. We did make a few rest stops on the way---about 20 minutes each and stopped for about 1.5 hours at a rest area west of St Louis for a nap about daylight. Didn't plan to ride that that long ---just sort of happened. I was on my 1300 and he on his 1800.
I grew up in Red River, NM and we used to call Dumas.......Dumbass. Cause you would have to be dumb to live anywhere out there. I think I would rather live on the moon.
Whats the difference? Moon or Dumas? Those parts do have the stock yard smell. I assume the Moon does not.
Longest mileage was 1114 offical miles (not Honda miles), Flower Mound, Texas to Sierra Blanca, Texas back to Flower Mound (Dallas area) on my stock VTX1300R. It was my first SS1000 only 6 months after renewing my love of motorcycling and 26 years off a motorcycle at age 59. Time wise my longest day was between 22 & 23 hours. It was a great learning experience for me.
September 1983 rode straight through from Phoenix, AZ to Memphis TN. 1,456 Miles 26 hours, stop just long enough for a few butt breaks and gas. One week later from Memphis, TN. to Phoenix, AZ. I made it a two day trip home spending the night in Texas. I Rode a 1983 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade then.

I am a member of both the Thousand and One club and an Iron Butt member. I don’t think the Thousand in One is even in existence any more, I think it became the Iron Butt. I did both when I was a lot younger. It’s been nearly 30 years ago when I did the Thousand In One. I love to ride. A friend and I are riding to Sturgis, SD in August for the Rally from Phoenix, AZ 1300 miles. No we will not be riding it in one day we will be doing it in two and a have days so that we can totally enjoy the motorcycling experience. Thank you for your reply, Ride Safe and Often.

I put in 825 miles from Delray Beach, FL to Bourbon St this past Labor Day weekend. Stock seat on my '03 1800r. Had a great ride with only 300 miles of South Florida downpours!

Holy 2011 post resurrection. Guess I was riding more then and doing the forum thing less to miss this. My longest day was in 2011, over 1500 miles. My longest days on the X were also in 2011, over 2100 miles in about 37 hrs.
