    Default Torque Pinch Bolts

    Ok, Can anyone direct me to a VTX 1800f Manual on line? If not does anyone know what to torque the Triple trees Bolts and Pinch bolts on my front shocks

    On the "How To;Step-by-Step" board is a list of torque specs for the 1800 and 1300. The bolts you listed are the same for any model

    top is 55N-m (41 l bf-ft)
    bottom 24 N-m (117 ft f-lb)

    You are talking about top center is (41ftlb) And im not sure what you mean by Bottom? The four Pinch Boths on the side for the shock mounts is what I need! And thanks for the Step by step Link,,,I check that out.....

    Sorry, gave wrong info. Bottom tree has separate settings from top.

    Yes Top middle one! and the 8 side ones that hold the forks in place

    The steering stem nut should be set at 74 ft lbs
    top fork pinch bolts set at 41 ft lbs
    bottom fork pinch bolts set at 17 ft lbs
    and the fork caps if you took those lose should be set at 25 ft lbs
