    Seems I saw something on a web site that would calculate the rake and trail for you and determine if it is "safe". I'll check on my other PC and see if I saved the site under "Favorites".

    Default Rake & Trail

    This question came up so many times, and had so many different answers that i said to heck with it and installed the 6 Degree Tree, lowered the rear with 11" 412s, installed a Metz. 200-60-16, and absolutely love the results. The bike turns so much cleaner now, with very little effort, and holds the turn very well with added confidence....
    But the best is the reaction from everyone who see's the bike, and likes that long low slammed look.. Awesome!!!! 03" 1800c.

    To hell with the mathemeticians, go with what works....
