    Default Different chin spoiler...

been searching for a chin spoiler and ran across these on the 1cruiser.com site...i'm looking into getting one

they don't mention the 1300R so i asked them for dimensions to see how much modification it will take, if any

the ones pictured say they go with a VT1100...anyone tried these?

    Default Chin spoiler

I've got the one from Honda and like it alot, the color match is perfect. However, I can understand wanting to look at other options. Check out the Corbin website, they have one that wraps around the whole radiator that looks very cool. Dan

Mine is from a VF500 Interceptor. Cost $28.00 from e-bay and about an hours work to trim and fit. Those do look nice though, and the ones from Corbin are awesome.

Was thinking of painting the radiator cover to match also.

I also like the chin from Corbin but it is kind of expensive for me. I found this person on eBay, of course, that sells a chin made by Bestern that looks like the one from corbin for $259. this chin is for VTX 1800 but he has a note that says it will be available for VTX 1300 in November but it does not say what year.
Here is a picture and the link to his page.

Very nice work Tinman. What tools did you need to trim and fit it?

I wonder if those be compatible with crash bars....

I used a pair of aviation tinsnips then sanded the edges smooth. Not too tough since it is made of soft plastic like a bumper cover on a car.

this is the honda line chin spoiler. Don't know if it fits the retro. Xtremerevolution.com has a cool one too called the ground pounder.
