I took my 2003 1800c in for a 12000 mile check up at the local Honda dealer. The starter worked great before I took it in. 24 hours after it is home, I go to start it up, clutch pulled in, nothing happens. I shift into neutral and release the clutch, it starts right up.
Does anybody have any ideas besides driving it back to the Honda dealer? Thanks for your help. Gene

Neutral switch wouldn't cause this. I would have a look at the wires on the clutch switch, odds are they are unplugged.

Well, Well, well
I am not very smart sometimes.... It was the kickstand. Kickstand up and it starts just fine. Thanks everyone

I have done that before also. Was on a group ride and all of a sudden after a lunch my bike was broke down. Harley guys were probably thinking, figures it's a Honda. Other metric guys showed sympathy, some were a little perturbed. Then my wife noticed the kickstand and of course could not tell me discreetly, had to blab it out loud, man was I embarrased.
