When I worked on the Barnett Shale I used to bring my bike with me a lot. Riding down to the stock yards was always fun in the evenings. Cool place

Wish I could join ya, haven't been to Joe T's in years. Love that place.
I was in Ft Worth the week of the 12th. I did make it to Angelo's for some Great BBQ One doesn't know what you miss when you don't get quality BBQ or Mexican food from the Great State of Texas Floridians Just Don't Know I think another trip to Tx is gonna come a bit sooner, Just thinking about Joe T Garcias YUM!!

We lived in OK city for about 8 months when I was the
welding Engineer for CMI,the heavy road paver company right there on !-40.My wifes nephews brought all of our stuff,including my Nighthawk in a 44 foot trailer and once everything was unloaded,I took everyone to the stockyards for those great steaks at the "Cattlemens club" excellent eatery !

Lucky bast....tion. Love the Stockyards, love Joe T's, love Uncle Julio's. Hell if Ft. Worth had a reef with lobster I'd move there.

Try to plan your trip around lobster season next year. Or hell this year after Aug.6th, opening day before C takes off to school.

Nope I didn't know that.
Who drinks tea with BBQ or for that matter Mexican food? The nice big frosty mugs at Angelos are much better with an adult beverage in them, just saying Tea is something you drink sitting on the porch after mowing the yard anyways..........JMHO Quote:
