Helen Ga. Ride

A few of us from the Polar Bear and Lynchberg ride are planning a cruise to Helen, Georgia on March the 21st. We're planning on meeting around 8:30 am at the Hardee's on Keith Street in Cleveland. Kickstands up at 9am, (weather permitting) same place we met for the Polar Bear ride. Anyone who wants to join us is welcome.

Bo, got the knees rebuilt and hopefully be ready to ride soon. Wheather permitting I may try to make this one.

Hope you feel better. It never seems to fail lately that all the warm days arrive during the week when I'm working and the weekends are cold and rainy. But.......spring is nearly here. I'm with you on hoping the 28th is nice.

Weather permitting a couple of us from Pigeon Forge may trailer down and ride with you. Got to get out of the house and go some where as i think cabin fever is setting in.

That looks like a great route to me. If it's getting too late I might cut off at Dalton or Cohutta a head to Chatt. I have some work to do on my fairing install but I hope to have that done by Friday. I'm waiting on a new headlight extension.

Fairing install? Where's the pics?

If we go that route I usually take hwy 2 east from 71. It will take you straight into Ringgold.

dsfvtx a new fairing will make that ride look real good, you keep it clean,hope to ride with u soon.

Who's going? Showers and 52 degrees, according to msn weather.

I got the fairing on just now. It will do until I can clean it up and tweak it.

Hope to see several of you guys in the morning.

I 'm going to pass on this one. Here in the mountains they are calling for 80% rain early changing to 1 to 3 inches of snow in the early evening. Hopefully this winter will end and can look forward to spring.

Ok. We're going to try this again this Saturday. Same time, same place, new date. So far the weather looks good. I updated the original post. RocketVTX, we're all good with going thru Chatsworth first then on to Helen like we talked about. Hope you can make it.

I missed the ride Sat as I was getting a new Metz 880 200 mounted on the rear. I didn't realize I was a little thin. Plan a trip on the Cherahala and I''ll meet you at the Tellico Mkt and I'll try to bring some of the locals with me.
