Default Special Offer - Glen's Stainless Steel CPR

I'm getting a batch of stainless steel CPRs, Clutch Pull Relief, and I need to unload some. So I'll have a special offer kit for the first 100 pieces from the batch.
The special offer kit will have 1 stainless steel CPR and 2 stainless steel mounting bolts and nuts for 20 bucks shipping included. No extra tools will be offered in this kit.
If you need the tools, Rivet Popper Tool and allen wrenches, I'm going to rent the tools out. I'll rent them out for 15 bucks. Send all the tools back to me and I'll send you a refund for 10 bucks. This special offer will be on our web site starting Sunday 4-19-09. Now's a good time to add a stainless steel CPR to your bike.

Enjoy your ride.
Glen

Glen,
I ordered one of these from Hick a while back and unfortunately MY clutch is one of THOSE clutches that came adjusted weird from the factory ... where the CPR/CTR could not be adjusted properly. Hick had said that he would work on a solution but with the hurricane and his financial woes I'm thinkin its not gonna happen. Anything you can do?

Thx!

My CPR will reduce the amount of force needed to pull in the clutch by 50 %. It's easy to install and the stainless steell will not rust.

Enjoy your ride.

The hardest part is removing the stock rivet from the clutch arm. I invented the Rivet Popper to make that part a lot easier. How much relief? Please read my post above.

I believe so. I designed a bend in my CPR to be use as the pivot stop. I can change the bend in the CPR to give it a different pivot stop. If we work toghether on this I think we can fix your trouble. Call me. 708-606-5832

Does Glen make a CPR that would work on a 1972 BSA Thunderbolt?

My buddy has one (a BSA), and is always complaining about the hard pull of his clutch.

Thanks,
CW

I got my clutch relief a couple of weeks ago (just missed out on the stainless) ... I just got around to installing it today. It took about a 1/2 hour ... would have been quicker but I guess my fingers are a little too fat ... it took about 10 minutes getting the last nut on the screw!

Instructions were bang on, and the rivet remover was amazing!

After the install I took her for a spin ... well, I kid you not, my clutch feels like a feather ... my goodness, what a difference. I was one of those riders that always put my vtx in neutral at a stop light because my hand would get tired ... now, I can keep the clutch it in with ease.

No longer will I fear the traffic jams. Glen, you rock, thank you for such a wonderful product!

Just ordered one and the a/f adjusting screw because I know I'll be needing them this summer when I take off the stock pipes. Thanks Glenn!

Hey paksoy,
Thanks for the great review. Your CPR is stainless steel. All of my CPRs have been made from stainless steel.
Glad you like it.

Enjoy your ride.

Does that include me. I'm the one with the 5 inch A/F screw and the Clutch relief, because I got laid off for a week and have nothing to do. Weather is lousy in New England so no riding.

I ordered mine yesterday. I am glad I procrastinated on ordering it last week. now I got a Stainless Steel one and it is cheaper.
2 weeks ago I was ready to buy Hick's sqrew from his web site and some reason I didn't order it. A few days later I bought a new one from a member here for $20.00 shipped. This board and it's members are great!

Just send them to me since I just ordered my CPR yesterday. I will even let you keep the $10, I would not feel right you paying me anything to take your rivet remover tool off your hands. JK
