http://www.vtxcafe.com/showthread.php?t=22585 but check this link out too, it has a lot of interesting reference for our 1300: http://www.vtxcafe.com/showthread.php?t=21645

One oddity, which would probably happen no matter how you do it, with the bike on, all four flash when activated, with the bike off, only the rear two flash, but I think that has to do with the front signals also being running lights, at least on my scoot. I would go with Glenn just for the fact of using a tried and true product instead of just hacking your wiring. |

Hey Glen,
Will your flasher work with LEDs in the turn signals sockets? Is this a digital flasher unit or one that needs to see current? The reason I ask is I am planning to change my front and rear turn signals (and add running lights) with LEDs using the OEM sockets and wiring loom. Mike

It is an 06 VTX1800F. Only variation from the directions I did was to splice and solder the wires instead of using the wire clips. All four flash when the key is in the "on" position, but when I turn the bike off and engage the flashers, only the rear two flash. That works for me, but just wanted to point it out, I bought the 4 way for runs, if I ever am on the side of the road, at least the rear two facing oncoming traffic will be working.
