A message from Hal to all the members here

I got the okay to post this and it was better to just use the email I got from Hal. Please keep him and the family in your prayers.

Pat was my best friend. We did everything together. 3 children, 7 grandchildren. She was the best wife, mother and grandmother. Never a harsh word to anyone. We had 42 years together and we were 6 weeks shy of our 40th wedding anniversary. When I got sick she made me better.

Saturday night at 8:15 she went to a better place where she will no longer suffer. The kids and I were with here last night at the hospital. During the last six months she never complained and just kept soldiering forward with the treatments.

She will be buried in Burlington, North Carolina, and we will have a memorial service in South Florida. I will let you know once everything is settled.
We appreciate everyone who has read these notes for the past 6 months. I read everyone of your responses to Pat. She appreciated that so many people were concerned about her.

Much love and thanks from our whole family.

You have been a great supporter of all of us who ride the "X" Beast, Hal, we are truly saddened at your loss. I didn't know her, but I'm sure Patricia was an A+ one of a kind lady, and we are all better off that she walked among us.
