Cool Help with service Advisor

Greetings all, Herb From Palm Harbor FL here.
Purchased a 2004 VTX 1300 2 months ago. I am very happy with finally having a grown man's ride I started riding at 50 years of age on Honda 900 CBR's then got a sweet 954rr..When I had my first lay down. Taught me I was a little to old to ride crotch rockets especially after having Prostrate surgery..

My question is, I know how to ride, check tire, oil, and brake fluid. but I never worked on my bikes, had a great small mechanic shop owner who is in Motorcycle heaven now..How do I find someone local Clearwater FL area, honest, knowledgeable about my machine and won't take me to the back. I'm 65 years old now and just love this ride, esp the Vance & Hines Pipes, lots of chrome..I don't have a group to ride with yet and in my neighborhood I can never seem to catch the couple of guys with similar bikes...any suggestions would be appreciated..

Welcome to the VTXASG (VTX Addition Support Group) .... where we gladly support each other's addiction.

I agree with the advice here. Even if you don't feel like working on the bike yourself, find a club or friend who can show you how to do it over pizza & beer (or similar). It is always fun to do things in a group.

And enjoy the new ride!

Try the Meetup group Hans gave you the link to. You will be notified of all upcoming scheduled rides.

The Vancouver Group I joined has over 900 members, and are always planning events.
