Gender used to be single-bit, these days we need at least a 128 bit integer.
Makes me wonder: do we have a new Y2K problem and need to rewrite oodles of software?

I like that. Used to be a boolean value, then we move into 2 bits with male ... more male than female, more female than male and female. Then, just like software bloat ... things started to get real stupid.

I suspect, just like Y2K ... the world won't end if more than a bool isn't accommodated.

Code:
//define all possible variables

bool xy;
bool xx;

//initialize variables

xy=!xx;
//end routine
